My tractor came from Chesapeake, Virginia where it had been placed in five gallon buckets. The tractor had previously sat for many years in the bushes and weeds prior to being dismantled. It was brought back to Richlands, NC where I began working on restoring it. I purchased a parts tractor from B and B Tractors in Beulaville, NC and I used parts from the parts tractor to restore my Farmall B. I started working on the engine and some of the smaller parts in my garage before moving it to the shop on the family farm. Family and friends would stop by and give advice and see the progress on my tractor that I slowly and sometimes painfully restored. I wore the shop manual out looking at how to assemble and trouble shoot the different parts to the tractor. I learned that cleaning and sandblasting are my least favorite parts of the restoration, while I found painting and wet sanding to be extremely satisfying. Thank you Delo for this opportunity and the experience!
