When I first got a look at the tractor, it was dismantled in pieces on the floor of the shop. Taking on a project like this one has unexpected challenges and frustrations. Work progressed slowly as if we were putting a puzzle together without being able to see the picture. Moving the tractor in the middle of a restoration will test the best of us.
I was able to locate the parts after some organization and plenty of searching. I had to rely on parts diagrams, service information and plenty of good advice to get through the restoration.
This tractor is more than a restoration to me, it's something that I had to prove to myself that I can still accomplish anything that I can set myself up to do no matter what all happens along the process, no matter how long it takes or how big the mountain is that has to be climbed to finish. There were lots of hard times that came along and made me want to stop, but I did not want to give up on myself or the others that supported me.
